Please answer this question for me

I decided to have a poll to see how you would like me to reveal the new free 2012 Block of the Month quilt.
The question is whether you want to see the whole quilt now or would prefer it to be a surprise each month.

I have put a poll button on the sidebar and would LOVE it if you would give me an answer on what you would prefer.  It will only take a second to click one of the answers and it would help me to gauge what the majority want.  So PLEASE vote!!!

Thank you ... and happy stitching.

Val

I say Keep it a secret until the blocks are finished and ask people to send you their finished pictures and see what happens!

Haha! It looks like most of us don't like mysteries. ;-) I can't wait to see it!!

I agree with Sue. I like the unveiling at the end with your items. They never let me down

I voted, but I don't like the results. It seems that most people want to see the whole thing! The uncertainty and excitement of not knowing what comes next is part of what I like about BOMs. It helps that I'm a pretty spontaneous person who doesn't plan things out in advance much. Whichever you do, I'm sure I'll like it!

I like mystery, but withever you do will be fine.

I agree with Sue, I like the anticipation of a surprise each month.

Whatever you decide is fine with me but I do enjoy the anticipation of what the next block will be and I enjoy the surprise. It is also nice to see what the finish will look like and it makes it easier to choose fabrics.

You're a very generous designer to spend much time creating and then giving it away, no matter what the final decision may be. I can't imagine how much effort and time it takes to do this, for no compensation. Generous, thoughtful, generous and just plain nice, I'd say you are!

Well I chose reveal block by block - cuz I know it's going to be so gorgeous, if I see it all at first I'm not going to want to wait, lol!!!

I voted to reveal all. I love mysteries but I also love to see the finished result. It's like reading the last chapter of a really good book first. You need to know what happens to the characters.... but plod along reading the whole book at the same time!! Anyway, what ever you decide is okay with us, Val.

hi, difficult choice. I like to see it so i can see what sort of fabric I still miss.
On the other site, the surprising thing each month is also nice.

Looks like most of us want to see the project all at once and not bit by bit!!

I'm fine either way. I have never been disapointed in any of your patterns. If I have to choose, then I say keep it a secrect and post one block a month.

Val, I voted to keep it secret - though it's nice to see what we're getting, a surprise is nice. You could always show the fabrics you used and amounts needed - that way everyone would know what they need - you could label the fabrics A,B,C if necessary.
I KNOW you have come up with another gorgeous winner of a quilt/project.

I think that as a surprise would be best, I would like to have and idea on measurements but other than that mystery is the best way to go.

I like to see what I am making before making it so I can make a more informed decision as to how I want to do it-fabric, colors, etc.
