I have two wonderful daughters-in-law! They are both amazing in the way they do life and care for family and friends ... and show their love for me!
One of them lives only 40 minutes away and she is always telling me that she will just drop everything if I need her for anything. How good is that!
The other one lives 2,000 kilometres away but her work brings her to my area three or four times a year. On most of those visits she is able to stay with me for a few days. It is always so good to catch up.
I was blessed to have both of them together with me last week so you can imagine how wonderful it was and how much chatting was done!
How could I say anything but "I would be delighted" when Sue asked me to make her one of my Blossom Cottage Calendars for their home?
She went home with all the numbers, days of the week, and months of the year in their pretty box and the calendar all ready to hang on the wall and change each day - a perpetual calendar that will never date!
If you want to make your own, the pattern is available here.
Now I look forward to the next week or two when I shall catch up with both my daughters!
Happy stitching and many blessings for the Easter Season when we celebrate the amazing death and resurrection of Jesus.

That is so wonderful that you have such a good relationship with your daughters-in-law. My husband and I just celebrated our 46th anniversary on the 8th of March and my mother-in-law has been very difficult to be around. Fortunately, when we married we moved from Michigan to Minnesota. She just passed away in May of last year at 94. My own parents passed away so long ago - 2000 and 2001. I would have given anything to have had them in my life all these years. You must be a very special person, Val. - Cynthia
Thank you so much for your kind words Cynthia.
