Giveaway for my Blogiversary and a free pattern

Yes, it's my Blogiversary.

It's 10 years tomorrow since I started Blogging and took my tentative steps on a journey that has taken me far, far beyond what I could ever have dreamed.

I have 'met' so many lovely people, been encouraged by complete strangers, been supported through times of trouble, have been blown away that people have liked my designs, and have been grateful for those who bought my patterns. This blog journey has truly been a great blessing. Thank you to you who have read my posts and left such beautiful comments. You have made me smile!

I couldn't let a Blogiversary go by without a Giveaway ... and we are going to have three winners! Yes, three of my readers will have the opportunity to receive one of my patterns - your choice. All you need to do is to leave a comment on this post telling me which pattern you would like to win.

My shop has lots of different sections so it is easy for you to find the pattern you would like to win - a bag, or a quilt, a pincushion, a pillow ...

The competition will be open for two weeks, finishing at midnight on
Saturday 23rd March (Australian time!)
and I plan to announce the winners the next day. Please make sure you leave your email address if you are a 'No Reply blogger'. If I cannot easily find your address, I am afraid I will need to hold a redraw.

So, go have a look at my shop, choose a pattern, and leave me a comment.

And seeing it's an Anniversary, I have added to my shop something new and something old.

"Beyond the Garden Gate" was published last year and the pattern is now available in my shop.

It's a gorgeous row quilt, with pieced blocks and lovely garden appliques. It is made using the easy Quilt-as-you-go method, but of course could be made by the traditional method if you wished.

Now for something old. I discovered quite a while ago that it was a good idea to keep my needles in their packets, or at least together, so I would know exactly which needle was what. "Lovely in Lilac" is a sweet needle case with six pockets to keep your different kinds of needles. It has some pretty lavender embroidery and makes up very quickly. It would make a great gift for a sewing friend too!

The Pattern can be found in my shop here.

AND ...

so that you are ALL winners, I am making available for the next two weeks a free stitchery pattern called 'Wishes'.
The pattern will be available from here until Saturday 23rd March, so hurry and download it now. Don't forget to let me see your finished stitchery!

Thanks for celebrating with me!

Hugs
Val

Happy 10th Blogiversary Congratulations. I love your work and there are so many of your patterns that I would love to make. I have chosen Maisie's Market Garden because the house and embroidery are irresistable.

Happy Blogversary!! You have so many cute designs, it would be difficult to decide. I would probably pick one of your sweet needle books or other sewing accessory.

I came back from vacation just in time! Thank you so much for the wishing well embroidery - that's lovely! Choosing the pattern I would want above all others was so difficult! I think I'm going with Cottage in the Garden, though there isn't any I wouldn't be happy to have. Happy Blogoversary! Ten years just flies by, doesn't it?

First on Facebook and now at this place: happy birthday. Hope to see/read a lot of blogs from you. I think my favorite would be the Baking day. (after hard thinking, because the macarons are nice too). The Lilies are still on the wall here and it is my favorite. It was great that you set the Dutch version of the text in the right lettertype for me. This made it extra unique.

After looking through my pattern stash to see what I already have and going back and forth in your shop, I finally decided my favorite is the 'Cottage in the Garden' quilt. Congratulations!!! I have admired your stitches for a long time.

Good Morning Val. Congratulations and thank you for 10 wonderful years of sharing your wonderful talent with us! I have loved stitching with you over the past years and look forward continuing the adventure with you! Choosing just one pattern was so difficult! There are several that caught my eye, but
was constantly drawn to one in particular. I would love to stitch your "Garden Dreams Calendar".
Congratulations again on 10 years of "blogging". Hugs, Candy L. Cape Town

I have so enjoyed your patterns over the years and I see so many more I'd love to make. I think one of my favorites is The Wardrobe, as I've always liked "paper dolls" and interactive projects, and it would be fun down the road for my new grand baby. beeloved1101@gmail.com
